For the past 18 months, I’ve been painting portraits of notable Hudson, NY residents, capturing both their likeness and their connection to our community. Using oil on canvas, I blend old master techniques with a contemporary touch to reflect our shared experience.

Size & Process
Each portrait is 12 x 16 inches (30 x 40 cm) and painted in oil on fine French linen. I work from high-quality reference photographs—if you're unsure about your photo, I’m happy to guide you in selecting the best reference image.
If you live in or near Hudson, New York, where my atelier is located, I would love to photograph you in person to ensure the best possible reference for your portrait. For clients in New York City, an in-person session is also available upon request.

Timeline
Paintings are typically completed within 4 weeks and shipped promptly after drying. I do not provide preliminary sketches, as the selected photograph serves as my guiding reference for the painting.
Materials & Authenticity
Each piece is hand-painted with oil on fine French linen and comes with a signed and dated certificate of authenticity.
Your Commission Process
A 50% deposit is required once we finalize the details of your commission.
The remaining balance is due upon completion.
Pricing typically ranges between $900 and $1700, depending on factors such as the complexity of the portrait, the number of subjects, and any special requests (e.g., background details or additional personalization). After our initial consultation, I will provide a detailed quote based on your specific vision.
